Qualifications

• Previous machine operation experience is great, but not required.
• Able to use measuring devices; calipers, micrometers, load testing equipment, and comparators.
• Swing shift experience or willingness to work those hours.
• Attention to detail; ability to work in a team.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to multitask; basic computer skills and Excel usage.
• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and adjust as needed.
• Learn quickly, progress in the role.
• Troubleshoot machines as you learn.
• Perform equipment changeovers.
• Quality control: keep parts within spec and reject bad parts.
• Interpret control charts and adjust to meet specs.
• Reject parts outside specifications.
• Follow standard procedures and safety requirements.
• Occasionally operate a forklift to maintain materials supply.
• Complete daily production logs.
• Perform routine non-production machine maintenance.
• Communicate production issues with other shifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; lock out equipment when not in use.
