Job summary

Pacific Staffing, LLC is seeking a Back Production Machine Operator in Canby, OR for a swing shift. The role involves setting up and running machines to produce precision parts, with growth potential to $40/hour.

You will work 4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, in a temp-to-hire arrangement with a starting wage of $22/hour.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Machine operator experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Basic computer skills for production logging.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Advanced skills like CNC programming, lathe, milling, surface grinder, drill press, cutoff saw are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machines to produce precision parts.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Measure parts and log production data.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Complete daily production and quality control logs.
• Follow SQC practices and control charts to maintain specs.
• Perform equipment/part changeovers as skills progress.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Communicate across shifts.
• Occasionally operate forklift to supply materials.

Our client is hiring a Machine Operator to set up and run machines that produce precision parts. This position is a real career opportunity, and you can earn up to $40 as an experienced machine operator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machines to produce precision parts
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
• Measure parts and log production data using computer systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Complete daily production and quality control logs
• Follow SQC practices and control charts to maintain product specifications
• Perform equipment/part changeovers as skills progress
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Communicate effectively across shifts
• Occasionally operate forklift to maintain raw material supply

• Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment
