Job summary

Vintners Logistics LLC, located in Kennewick, WA, is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support our wine and food storage operations. This role focuses on safe forklift operation, efficient material transport, loading/unloading, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment during a fast-paced swing shift with mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities include building customer orders, performing forklift inspections, inventory counts, and assisting with trailer sanitation and bin washing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and always following proper procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, following proper handling procedures.
• Move pallets and other materials to designated storage locations using the forklift.
• Build customer orders / pallets from customer created pick tickets.
• Perform regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Sanitize incoming trailers during harvest
• Bin Washing
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
