Job summary

Vintners Logistics LLC is seeking a motivated Warehouse Forklift Operator in Kennewick, WA to load, unload, and hand-pick pallets of wine, food, and packaging. Overtime is required, with overtime seasonally mandated.

The role focuses on operating a forklift safely, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license required.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas following proper procedures.
• Move pallets and materials to designated storage locations using the forklift.
• Build customer orders / pallets from customer pick tickets.
• Perform regular forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to safety standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Sanitize incoming trailers during harvest and bin wash responsibilities.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and hand pick building pallets of wine, food, and packaging within our warehouse efficiently and safely. The Warehouse Forklift Operator will play a critical role in maintaining the flow of products through the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
