Job summary

AGF Glass, Inc. in Springfield, MO is seeking a Swing Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing equipment and facilities running smoothly. This hands-on role requires industrial maintenance, HVAC/R, machining, and mechanical troubleshooting.

You will work Monday–Friday 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with training on first shift for 4–6 weeks, overtime as needed, and starting pay of $22/hour based on experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in HVAC/R system maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills when interacting with internal teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of high‑voltage systems and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
• Ability to work with logic controllers for equipment programming and adjustments.
• Understanding of hydraulic systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Welding skills for fabrication tasks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment in the manufacturing facility
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including high‑voltage systems and precision measuring instruments
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly
• Collaborate with team members to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize downtime
• Use logic controllers to program and adjust equipment settings as needed
• Maintain hydraulic systems and ensure their proper functioning
• Use welding skills for repairs and fabrication tasks
• Perform machining tasks as needed to support equipment repairs and maintenance
