Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT, seeks a full-time Environmental Services Associate to perform general housekeeping in a hospital setting on the swing shift (5:00pm–1:30am) with weekends required. Qualifications

• One year hospital cleaning experience preferred.
• Demonstrated communication skills to differentiate color-coded labels and/or chemicals and to follow directions.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that meets department needs.
• Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Dispose of infectious waste and trash following guidelines.
• Follow infection prevention practices including PPE donning/doffing.
• Assist with emergency spills per guidelines and maintain safe storage areas.
