Job summary

Intermountain Health Spanish Fork Hospital is seeking a dedicated hospital housekeeping staff member to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment in patient and public areas. You will follow Joint Commission and OSHA standards while using approved cleaning procedures and PPE.

The role requires flexible scheduling with evening/night/weekend differential shifts and a pay rate of $17.68–$22.99 per hour. Intermountain offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible caregivers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills to differentiate color-coded labels and/or chemicals and to follow written and/or verbal directions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet department needs.
• Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department cleaning procedures.
• Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Properly dispose of infectious waste and trash.
• Handle and clean up emergency spills per department guidelines, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices and PPE protocols.
• Maintain work and storage areas following established safety policies.
