Job summary

Singing River Health System Gulfport is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to uphold cleanliness and infection-control standards within our hospital environment. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, offices, and corridors, and supporting the laundry/linen operations as needed.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and prefer at least six months of healthcare housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to follow established policies for infection control.
• WK history of reliable attendance and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental and infection control standards per Health System policies.
• Perform general cleaning and linen tasks for patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other areas.
• Assist with laundry/linen duties and restock linen carts and packs for surgical and ED areas.
• Ensure linen deliveries are accurate and linen rooms are stocked; gather used linens as assigned.
