Job summary

Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide for the OSH Clinic, Swing Shift (5:00 PM - 1:30 AM). You will maintain cleanliness and infection control standards across patient rooms, offices, and hallways, and assist with the laundry/linen division as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) and about 6 months of healthcare housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent, preferred
• Experience: Six (6) months housekeeping experience working in a healthcare facility preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains environmental and infection control standards within policies and procedures.
• Performs general cleaning and linen tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other areas.
• Restocks linen carts and assembles linen packs for Surgical Services and other departments.
• Ensures linen is delivered and correctly received; stocks linen room and other areas as needed.
