Job summary

Pacific Coast Fresh Company in Boise, ID is seeking a full-time delivery driver to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, deliver fresh produce to customers, and pick up orders from vendors. You will operate pallet jacks and company vehicles, maintain safety and professionalism, and handle 4–5 stops per night.

The position requires English literacy, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the flexibility to work holidays. Competitive benefits and weekly payroll are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and hold the required class of license
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack safely
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to fill out manifests, credits and inspection sheets and driver logs on apps
• Must be able to work holidays if needed
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stack/unstack pallets
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, lift and maneuver during delivery routes
• Knowledge of produce types and quality is a plus

Responsibilities

• Do a complete pre-trip inspection of the vehicle
• Deliver product to customers, verifying location
• Pick up product from vendors and check orders for accuracy
• Post-trip inspection after completing route at Boise depot
• Operate equipment safely including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and vehicles
• Maintain a professional demeanor with employees, customers, and management
• Typically 4 to 5 stops per night
• Complete required paperwork and logs as directed
