Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MIG, TIG or Stick welding experience.
• Minimum of 1 year fabrication experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints/plans.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Structural Steel / Misc. Erector.

Responsibilities

• Plan jobs by reading erection drawings/plans.
• Use cranes to lift and guide steel components into position.
• Weld in multiple positions using GTAW or GMAW.
• Inspect components prior to assembly against blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Uphold OSHA safety guidelines and work safely at all times.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
