Job summary

Amrize in Buckeye, AZ, is seeking an Aggregate Maintenance Technician for Swing Shift to maintain mining processing equipment, perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance, and prepare daily/weekly reports.

The role requires a High School diploma, experience in mechanical repair in industrial settings, basic mechanical aptitude, welding skills, and ability to operate equipment like skid-steer. We offer comprehensive benefits and safety-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/equivalent required.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation and construction in industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance including stick welding, arc welding, lite fabrication, cutting torch, and wrenching.
• Preferred experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, and other industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following manufacturer-recommended service intervals and company procedures.
• Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
• Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment to address plant breakdowns.
• Adheres to safety, environmental and company policies and completes all required paperwork timely.
