States Industries Llc is seeking a press operator to load/unload the press, set cycle times, and trim veneers according to layup lists. You will perform quality checks, track glue tack time, and communicate defects to spreader crews while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will also inspect press plates hourly, use a micrometer to verify thickness, and document results. Training in lockout/tagout and forklift operation is required, with adherence to Kaizen and 5S principles on the line.

SUMMARY:Load Press in a timely fashion. Make Tickets according to the lay up list provided. Ensure press settings are being used according to the POS’s posted. Perform all labor entries accurately and record press reports in a readable manner. Perform quality checks on every load loaded into the Press and provide instant feedback to either press, spreader, or bond adhesive technician. This position is also responsible for off bearing the press when needed and doing bond checks.
