Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) seeks a Manager on Duty for Gold Dust West Carson City to oversee swing/graveyard operations, ensure casino safety, and manage on-floor activities.

The role emphasizes adherence to gaming regulations, supervision of the slot team, and coordination with department managers as needed on shift. Responsibilities include reporting, payroll management, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while upholding internal controls.

Qualifications

• Must read, analyze, and interpret gaming regulations and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and integrity of the property, customers, and employees.
• Directly supervise the slot department employees and ensure proper casino floor function.
• Create shift reports to facilitate management communication.
• Determine the need to involve department managers when not on site.
• Implement early outs to manage payroll.
• Evaluate player activity and issue complimentary items to increase loyalty and revenue.
