Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Animal Research Coordinator to support our government customer in San Antonio, TX. The role involves hands-on animal studies, protocol development, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with IACUC and DHA guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple projects, assisting with protocol writing, data management, and preparing research outputs such as abstracts and posters. AALAS certification and GCP training are highly desired.

Qualifications

• Requires proof of immunization per DHA guidelines.
• Experience in clinical research.
• Hands-on experience with swine.
• Completion of AALAS accreditation training for laboratory animals.
• Completion of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain research protocols, schedules and regulatory documents.
• Assist with protocol writing and IACUC submissions.
• Coordinate multiple projects and communicate with supervisors.
• Maintain data integrity and organize study files.
• Prepare abstracts, posters, manuscripts and figures.
