Job summary

Prestage Farms is seeking a Swine Finishing Service Personnel to serve as the liaison between the company and contract growers of finishing sites. You will provide technical assistance for efficient pork production and act as an advisor on herd health and personnel management.

Responsibilities include visiting finishing sites weekly, ensuring production max, monitoring health and mortality, and coordinating schedules for hogs arriving and leaving.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Must live near Bladen County where you will be servicing farms.
• Must submit to criminal records search and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Visit finishing sites weekly.
• Ensure maximum productivity of each finishing unit.
• Serve as the liaison between Prestage Farms and the contract grower for each finishing site.
• Monitor health and mortality, and manage hogs coming in and going out.
