United Therapeutics is seeking an Animal Technician I/II for its Houston, TX facility to maintain daily pig care in a designated pathogen-free area and support veterinary procedures. The role involves feeding, moving pigs, basic treatments, semen collection, and strict adherence to SOPs and quality records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 1+ year (I) or 2+ years (II) of large animal care experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of large animal care/handling for Technician II; 1+ year for Technician I.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Able to follow and author SOPs.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and 10‑hour shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain daily care of pigs in the DPF facility.
• Assist vet team during operations and sample handling.
• Clean, disinfect, and upkeep the DPF and maintain records.
• Move pigs, perform basic treatments, semen collection, and reproductive tasks.
• Follow SOPs and GDP quality standards; keep accurate records.
