Job summary

The Maschhoffs is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily farm operations, ensure humane animal handling, monitor animal health, and maintain production records. You will train team members, enforce SOPs, and communicate needs to the Farm Manager.

This role requires leadership, reliability, and a commitment to safety and quality in a swine production environment. Key duties include coordinating daily activities, maintaining records, and supporting environmental stewardship through

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Agriculture industry preferred.
• Company policies and procedures understood.
• SOPs of the system thoroughly understood.
• Proper pig terminology and livestock handling.
• MS Office familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Farm Manager in training team members and organizing daily activities.
• Organize and participate in daily production activities and ensure SOP execution.
• Monitor animal health, vaccinations, medications, and record-keeping.
• Communicate department needs to Farm Manager (feed, supplies, maintenance).
• Maintain and repair buildings and equipment as needed.
• Promote environmental stewardship and proper manure management.
