Job summary

Maschhoffs is seeking an on-site Farm Manager to drive profitability on a multi-million dollar pork production operation. You will lead Team Leads and Technicians, oversee hiring and training, and implement safe, bio-secure practices across the farm.

The role requires 3 years of management experience and a degree in Animal Science or related field. Compensation reflects a targeted pay range with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, Agriculture or related field preferred.
• 3 years management experience required; degree may substitute for 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage full profit & loss and a multi-million dollar asset base to drive profitability through lower cost of production and higher volume.
• Develop leadership and technical skills of Team Leads and Production Technicians on a 2500 head farm or smaller.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and development in line with company policies.
• Promote safe work habits and report injuries; ensure bio-security and environmental stewardship.
