Job summary

La Cañada Pool & Patio is seeking a hardworking swimming pool maintenance technician. You will receive training, then manage a local pool route in your own truck, serving pools and spas. A self-motivated, reliable team player who can solve problems will fit well.

Qualifications

• Prefer High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Prefer some maintenance experience.
• Must speak English.
• Must have drivers license and insurance.
• Must have own truck.
• Prefer knowledge of swimming pools, swimming pool equipment and chemicals.
• Prefer understanding of chemical safety.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on swimming pools and/or spas to make sure they’re clean and operating efficiently.
• Report any needed repairs to our office.
• Net pool surfaces, brush walls, vacuum pools, test water, empty skimmer and pump baskets, add needed chemicals.
• Keep customers gates shut/locked to prevent unnecessary accidents.
• Keep a record of completed pools, added chemicals, and turn in time sheets weekly.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep the equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
