Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Swimming Lesson Instructor to conduct lessons for Fitness Plus members and the community, under the supervision of the Aquatics and Recreation Supervisor. You will deliver engaging, safety‑focused instruction and maintain accurate participation records.

This PRN role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and relevant certifications; three months of teaching swim lessons or swim-team experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Training – preferred.
• BLS certification required within 45 days of employment.
• Three (3) months of experience teaching swim lessons or participating in an organized swim team – required

Responsibilities

• Conduct swim lessons for Fitness Plus members and the community.
• Maintain accurate lesson records and attendance.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Aquatics and Recreation Supervisor the Swimming Lesson Instructor is responsible for conducting swim lessons, proper record keeping, and delivery of excellent customer service at all times to members of Fitness Plus and the general community.
