The primary responsibility of the Swim Instructor is to provide a safe and educational aquatic environment for all swim lesson participants. Provide competent, safe instruction using recognized lead up skills as established by professional and national aquatic agencies. Plan effective, organized, and consistent instruction for participants that is tailored to their needs and skill ability. Act as a champion for the facility within the community by marketing skills and lessons. May also act as a lifeguard, exercise instructor and help with various activities as needed within the center's pool environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience participating, instructing, and/or coaching swim preferred
