Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient Swimming Instructor to join our team in Lebanon, United States. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming skills to individuals of all ages and abilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

1. Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of various ages and skill levels.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's abilities and goals.
3. Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and provide clear instructions to students.
4. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
5. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
6. Maintain a clean and organized pool area.
7. Assist in the supervision of the pool area during open swim times.
8. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices.
9. Perform basic pool maintenance and water quality checks as needed.

Qualifications

1. Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques.
2. Certified Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification required.
3. Current Lifeguard certification.
4. CPR and First Aid certification.
5. High school diploma or equivalent.
6. Previous experience as a swimming instructor or lifeguard preferred.
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse age groups.
8. Patient and supportive teaching approach.
9. Ability to demonstrate and teach swimming techniques effectively.
10. Understanding of water safety principles and swim lesson progression.
11. Physical ability to enter and exit the pool multiple times per day.
12. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
13. Enthusiasm for swimming and helping others learn and improve their skills.
