Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct the swim team consisting of 15-25 student-athletes.
• Assist the Head Swim Coach with coaching and administrative duties.
• Conduct regular practices for the team.
• Ensure the safety of all student-athletes during practices and competitions.
• Develop practice and training plans for athletes with varying abilities.
• Coaching will require six days per week commitment.
• Coaching will require six days per week, including practices and contests; 15–20 hours per week is a typical time commitment.
• Supervise and travel with the team to all contests.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise and instruct the swim team consisting of approximately 15-25 student‑athletes.
• Assist the Head Swim Coach with coaching, communication, and administrative duties as assigned.
• Conduct regular practices for the team.
• Coach student‑athletes in a positive manner.
• Ensure the safety of all student‑athletes during practices and competitions.
• Develop practice and training plans for athletes with differing ability levels.
• Coaching will require six days per week, including practices and contests. 15‑20 hours per week is a typical time commitment.
• Supervise and travel with the team to all contests.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
