Job summary

SafeSplash Lancaster, PA is hiring a Swim School Manager to lead on-deck teaching and to guide a team focused on safety, customer care, and enrollment growth in Lititz, Lebanon, and Hershey, PA.

The role involves managing instructors, planning schedules, and delivering the SafeSplash program while ensuring a high-quality family experience. Expect a 40-hour week with some weekend time and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with children.
• Experience supervising staff or in a customer-facing role (aquatics, childcare, fitness, retail, or similar).
• Calm, friendly professionalism when interacting with parents.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
• Comfort in the water for extended periods; ability to stand and lift swim equipment.
• Willingness to earn CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (paid for by employer).
• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between Lititz, Lebanon, and Hershey.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor swim instructors; build schedules and solve problems.
• Be the go-to for parents; handle questions, concerns, and escalations with care; support enrollment and billing questions.
• Plan and execute local marketing, events, and partnerships; grow enrollment and retain families.
• Teach group and private swim lessons using the SafeSplash curriculum and philosophy.
• Oversee pool safety, cleanliness, and daily opening/closing procedures; spot issues early and resolve them.

At SafeSplash Lancaster, we help kids build confidence in the water and learn a skill that could save their lives. We’re looking for a Swim School Manager to help lead that work. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you’ll be central to our mission of teaching the joy and lifesaving skill of swimming. You’ll spend part of your time on deck and in the water teaching, and part of it leading the team and building enrollment.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team

• Train, mentor, and support swim instructors
• Build instructor schedules and problem-solve
• Model our core values and help create a positive, accountable team culture

Customer Experience

• Be the go-to person for parents: answer questions, resolve concerns, and handle escalations with care
• Support operations, including enrollment, billing questions, and class placement
• Watch for ways to improve the family experience, from check-in to class flow

Enrollment & Local Marketing

• Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into enrollments
• Help plan and carry out local marketing, community events, and partnerships
• Work to grow enrollment and keep current families coming back

Teaching

• Teach group and private swim lessons to students of all ages and abilities using the SafeSplash curriculum and teaching philosophy

Facility Operations

• Help oversee pool safety, cleanliness, and daily opening and closing procedures
• Spot facility issues early and see them through to resolution

Your Schedule

• About 40 hours per week, mostly weekday afternoons and evenings plus Saturday mornings
• Never Sundays, Friday nights, or Saturday nights
