Job summary

Anaheim Family YMCA is seeking a part-time Swim Assistant Supervisor to oversee pool operations, supervise instructors and lifeguards, and manage member communications at the Anaheim pool locations.

The role requires quick decision-making, strong safety awareness, and ability to enforce YMCA rules. Training in CPR/AED and lifeguard certification are required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in customer service or member communications is a plus.
• Experience with YMCA programs or pool ops is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee swim lessons, instructors, and lifeguards to ensure safety.
• Instruct and supervise staff and volunteers at YMCA pool locations.
• Manage member communications and registrations.
• Enforce pool site rules and YMCA policies.
• Assist with seasonal operations and scheduling.
