Job summary

Premier Aquatics Services LLC. is seeking a part-time Swim Lesson Manager to oversee daily swim lesson operations, mentor instructors, and ensure a positive guest experience. You will collaborate with the Programs Director and receive specialized training to lead the Paramount Pool’s aquatic programs.

The role requires prior swim instructor experience, willingness to teach weekly lessons, and weekend availability. The environment emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instructor experience is required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification.
• Outgoing, responsible, and reliable candidate.
• Teach swim lessons at least once a week.
• Availability on Saturdays and Sundays 8:30 am–1:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Review and confirm the daily swim lesson roster.
• Communicate program and curriculum goals to families.
• Serve as point of contact for instructors during lessons.
• Implement feedback to improve lesson quality.
• Collaborate with instructors mid- and post-lesson for coaching.
• Approve swim lesson graduation for students.
• Run and teach Parent and Me lessons.
• Oversee Aqua Aerobics programs.
• Document detailed reports and interactions with staff and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary The Swim Lesson Manager at the Paramount Pool plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of swim lessons. This includes not only overseeing the logistics but also providing mentorship to the swim instructors to help them excel.

Your mission is to create an atmosphere where every guest has a positive and enjoyable experience. Whether it's the first-time swimmers or those looking to refine their skills, you'll be there to guide them through the aquatic journey.

Working closely with the Programs Director, you'll receive specialized training tailored to the unique features of the Paramount Pool. This collaboration ensures you're well-equipped to lead and contribute to the center's success.

Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Review and confirm the daily swim lesson roster
• Effectively communicate program and curriculum goals to the families
• Service as a point of contact for swim instructors during lessons
• Apply feedback from the Training Coordinator to improve lesson quality
• Collaborate with instructors mid-lesson and post-lesson with feedback to enhance their coaching
• Approve swim lesson graduation for students
• Running and teaching Parent and Me lessons
• Overseeing and running the Aqua Aerobics programs
• Professionally document detailed reports, comments, and other interactions with staff and customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements Minimum

• Previous swim instructor experience
• Must possess, or be able to obtain/maintain a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
• Candidate must be outgoing, responsible, and reliable
• Teach swim lessons at least once a week
• Consistently available on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

Preferred

• 6+ months of swim instructor experience
• Possesses knowledge of Jackrabbit Technologies and/or OneTeam360
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to teach swim lessons in the water for up to 8 hours
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job and to move or lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be physically able to rescue someone drowning or injured in the water
• May be exposed to prolonged periods of being outdoors
