Job summary

YMCA of Delaware is seeking a part-time Swim Lesson Instructor at the Bear-Glasgow YMCA Family Location in Newark, DE. You will teach swim techniques and water safety, assess progress, monitor the pool, and maintain attendance and progress reports.

Must be at least 15 years old and available early mornings, evenings, and some weekends. Rate of pay ranges from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour, with final compensation based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach swim techniques, strokes, and water safety rules to participants with varying swimming abilities.
• Assess and evaluate progress of participants and adjust programs accordingly.
• Monitor pool at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Rate of pay: $15.00 – $19.00. Final compensation is based on factors such as the skills, qualifications, and experience.
