The Swim Lesson Instructor (or Instructor Aide) is responsible for working in the water, assisting in conducting aquatic instruction for members and participants. Providing support and encouragement to help students learn to swim, while ensuring safety and cleanliness of the pool area in adherence to YMCA Aquatic Safety Standards.
After employment, the Greater Philadelphia YMCA will cover the cost of training and hours required for YMCA Swim Lesson Certification. Successful completion of this certification will lead to increased compensation.
