Job description

Join our award-winning Parks Recreation and Cultural Arts team as a part-time Swim Instructor/WSI at the Kettering Recreation Complex. We are seeking energetic individuals with a positive attitude to provide high-quality customer service and instruction according to American Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

1. Instructing all levels of Red Cross swimming and Special Populations programs.
2. Creating a positive learning environment.
3. Promoting good public relations with students and families.
4. Ensuring a safe pool environment.
5. Providing consistent instruction.
6. Maintaining a professional appearance.
7. Attending all scheduled staff meetings and in-services.
8. Maintaining up-to-date Water Safety Instructor certification.
9. Completing and submitting required paperwork.
10. Enforcing all relevant policies and guidelines.

Compensation: $11.85 - $13.80 per hour, based on skills and experience.
