Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Needham, MA is seeking confident, dependable Swim Instructors for a part-time role. You’ll teach children ages 4 months through 12 years using a play-based curriculum, creating a safe, fun learning environment and communicating progress to families.

Paid training is provided; Lifeguard certification is required while employed and courses are available within 90 days. Opportunities for advancement and strong teamwork are emphasized at our Needham location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years).
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress
• Maintain pool safety
• Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck
