Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Needham is seeking confident, dependable Swim Instructors to teach life-saving water safety skills and create a fun experience for families at our Needham location. The role supports children 4 months through 12 years with a play-based curriculum.

Part-time positions pay $17–$19 per hour with a minimum of 2 shifts per week (3–6 hours per shift). Paid training is provided, and lifeguard certification may be required during employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years).

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years using Goldfish's curriculum.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress.
• Maintain pool safety.
• Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck.
