Job summary

Goldfish Swim School – Louisville is seeking a friendly Swim Instructor to bring the Goldfish curriculum to life for young learners. You’ll help kids become confident in the water while keeping safety and fun at the forefront.

This entry-level role offers paid training, a flexible schedule, and the chance to gain leadership experience. Pay is $15 per hour, with hours primarily Tue/Thu mornings.

Qualifications

• Experience: Not required; training provided for those who love working with kids.
• Background: Previous lifeguard, youth coach, camp counselor or childcare experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and ability to pass a background check.
• Education: HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach high-quality swim instruction based on the Goldfish curriculum.
• Maintain safety by enforcing pool rules and creating a fun, safe learning environment.
• Communicate progress updates to parents and celebrate small wins.
• Assist students in overcoming fears and reaching milestones.
• Keep pool area clean and equipment ready for class.
