Job summary

Emler Swim School in Olympia, WA is seeking friendly, safety-minded Swim Instructors to teach kids ages 6 months to 12 years. You’ll learn our proven methods from a mentor, lead weekly lessons, and celebrate milestones with families.

Set evening and weekend shifts offer flexible hours for students and part-timers. Paid training is provided, and opportunities to grow into mentoring roles and leadership are available as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with strong communication.
• Able to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet; previous teaching or swim experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Train with a mentor to learn our swim instruction methods.
• Teach weekly lessons and celebrate student milestones.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Keep safety as a top priority around the pool.
• Maintain an active, on-your-feet role in and around the water.
• Instruct classes for ages 6 months to 12 years.
