Job summary

Trails Park and Recreation District in Centennial, CO is seeking a Swim Instructor to lead learn-to-swim classes at the Trails Recreation Center. You will create a safe, positive learning environment for all ages, delivering StarGuard Elite-based curricula and maintaining records and attendance.

You will collaborate with the aquatics team, provide excellent customer service, and adhere to district policies while teaching multiple levels, including parent & tot, preschool, youth, and adult swim

Qualifications

• Knowledge of teaching all levels through StarGuard Elite training.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and public.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct all levels of swim lessons according to StarGuard Elite and TPRD curriculum.
• Complete paperwork and progress reports; submit course records after each session.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; ensure safety and order in class.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive environment.
