Swim Instructor, Sports Core

Work Mode: Onsite

Opportunity

Our team at Sports Core Health & Racquet Club offers a wide range of fitness activities, from swimming and tennis to group classes and personal training. Join our innovative team of well-being professionals and help our guests find a balanced, community-based approach to health.

Responsibilities include:

1. Instructing swim classes and private lessons for children and adults according to curriculum.
2. Maintaining accurate records regarding class content and student progress.
3. Building a friendly and open rapport with parents; managing class disruptions effectively.
4. Monitoring aquatic activity at all times; enforcing all pool and safety policies.
5. Responsible for swim program equipment upkeep.
6. Maintaining required certifications.
7. Ensuring order in the pool area.

This is a part-time position, working weekdays and weekends. Shifts may vary between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

1. WSI Certification required at hire or within 30 days.
2. 3-5 years of experience teaching children or adults preferred.
3. Must be 18 years old.
4. Prior teaching experience highly preferred.
