An established community organization is seeking a dedicated swim instructor to lead advanced swimming classes. This role involves planning and organizing lessons while providing expert instruction to participants. Duties:
Under the general direction of the Aquatics Manager/Recreation Specialist and close supervision of the Pool Program Manager, plans, organizes, and provides instruction to participants in advanced swimming techniques and skills.
Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Experience: Experience as a lifeguard preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Must possess current swim instructor training certificate. Must possess Red Cross First Aid Certification and Red Cross CPR Certification. American Red Cross Water (WSI) Certification preferred.
Schedule: May be scheduled to work Monday-Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Schedule will vary based on assigned shift/schedule.
