Job summary

Jorgensen Family YMCA in Fort Wayne is seeking a part-time swim instructor to create a safe, engaging learning environment and teach swim skills in accordance with YMCA guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Demonstrate YMCA swim instructor skills per YMCA standards.
• Certification from the YMCA or an accredited association preferred or willing to certify.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Connect with members, swim participants, and parents.
• Nurture a safe and positive environment for the swim lesson participants to succeed.
• Inspire participation in swim programs.
