A local swim school in Brooklyn is seeking a Swim Instructor to provide proper swim techniques and water safety education for children ages 4 months to 12 years. Qualifications

• Prior related leadership and teaching experience is preferred.
• Must pass background examinations included with training.
• Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor or childcare provider is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Inspect pool areas for maintenance or cleanliness.
• Evaluate students' progress and complete paperwork.
• Cross-train in multiple roles as necessary.
• Act as a GSS ambassador to provide a Golden Experience.
