Job summary

SafeSplash + SwimLabs is seeking Swim Instructors to teach swimming using our SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, supportive environment while keeping swimmers safe.

We offer competitive pay ($17.50–$22.00/hr), flexible scheduling, training and development, and opportunities to grow your career in the swimming industry.

Preferred qualifications include prior swim instruction and WSI certification; CPR-PR/AED and First Aid are preferred and we’ll help you become certified within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
