The Granite YMCA is seeking dedicated Swim Instructors to join our energetic aquatics team in Concord, NH. This role offers training, flexible shifts, and growth opportunities while helping swimmers build confidence and water safety skills.

As part of a mission-driven team, you will lead engaging lessons, follow YMCA curricula, and provide constructive feedback to learners of all ages. Training is provided for qualified candidates who commit to safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong swimming skills and comfort in the water.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse age groups.
• Positive, patient, and encouraging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Follow YMCA curriculum to support skill progression and water safety.
• Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and constructive feedback.
• Build positive relationships with swimmers, families, and staff.
• Track participant progress and complete required documentation.
• Assist with pool safety and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Attend required trainings and communicate scheduling needs.
