Job summary

YMCA of the Roses in Lancaster is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors to teach and support swimmers of all ages. In this role, you will help participants build confidence and improve their swimming skills in a positive environment.

The ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, hold CPR and First Aid certifications, and have a background in teaching swim lessons. Perks include a free YMCA membership and access to wellness facilities.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CPR Pro and First Aid certification.
• Background clearances required (state police, child abuse, FBI).
• 3 years of teaching swim lessons or completion of YMCA training for Level II.
• 5 years of teaching swim lessons and supervising for Level III.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons per YMCA guidelines.
• Build positive relationships with participants and parents.
• Maintain attendance records and communication.
• Follow emergency and safety protocols.
