YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to provide safe, effective swim lessons following YMCA guidelines. You will plan lessons, evaluate progress, maintain equipment, and assist lifeguards as needed. Prior teaching experience preferred; training provided. 16+ welcome to apply. Hourly wage is $12.

• Safety of all participants is required.
• Follow the YMCA national guidelines for all swim lessons.
• Ability to evaluate student performance and provide feedback, complete attendance, progress, and accident reports, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Prepare and follow lesson plans for each swim instruction lesson.
• Clean and store teaching equipment properly.
• Assist lifeguard on duty with emergencies in the aquatics area.

PAY RATE: $12.00/hr
