Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago seeks a Swim Instructor to teach swim skills to kids and adults, delivering friendly service and ensuring safety in the facilities. Must be at least 15 years old with current YMCA Swim Lessons or ARC Water Safety Instructor, CPR/First Aid/AED and Oxygen certs, or complete the Aquatics Academy; passion for diverse youth and high-quality instruction is essential.

Starting pay is $18.00/hour with flexible hours, and free YMCA membership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current YMCA Swim Lessons or ARC WSI, CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen certification or complete YMCA Aquatics Academy.
• Passion for working with diverse youth and provide high-quality instruction.
• Meets physical qualifications required for certification in job.

Responsibilities
