Position Information:

• Position Title: Swim Instructor
• Employee Group: Temporary
• Division/Department: Fitness & Recreation Center
• Status: Part-time temporary, 18-20 hours/week, Hourly salary of $10.20

Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions:

• The successful candidate must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Teaching private and group swim classes in accordance with the FRC guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Certified in any Swim instructor program.
• Ability to see and hear calls of distress.
• Ability to pick up equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Display emotional maturity, good communication skills, judgment, tact, and a positive attitude.

Additional Experiences Considered:

• Must be current with the following certifications: Any Swim instructor program.
