Principal Responsibilities:

The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is looking for qualified swim instructors to join our team! The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Teach private lessons and group classes as per the American Red Cross guidelines to develop proper swimming techniques and skills
2. Be a team player who is consistent and reliable
3. Be enthusiastic and motivate students
4. Maintain records as required (attendance, progress, etc.)
5. Follow all JCC policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency procedures
6. Confirm schedules and communicate client's progress
7. Part-time, hourly $36-$50

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Strong swimming abilities
• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification, with Lifeguarding preferred
• Swim instructors must have experience, WSI preferred
• Experience teaching children and adults, Adaptive swim lesson experience preferred
