• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications required within 60 days of hire.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, helping adults and children improve their swimming skills. You will teach life skills to our youngest members, evaluate their swimming abilities to assign appropriate swim levels, and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events
2. Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns
3. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pool area
4. Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications (within 60 days of hire)
• Complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hiring
• Ability to work stationary and move about the club for extended periods
• Effective communication skills with guests regarding Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs routinely

Preferred Requirements

• Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience

Pay

This hourly position starts at $14.25 and can go up to $17.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
