Job summary

Streamline Brands is seeking a Swim Instructor for SafeSplash + SwimLabs Edinburg. You will teach swimming per our curriculum, provide positive feedback, and structure classes to promote skill mastery while ensuring student safety.

Previous instruction is preferred, with training and certification support offered. Competitive hourly pay and benefits for a franchise location across the nation are highlighted in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in swim instruction preferred; training available.
• CPR-PR/AED and First Aid preferred; certification assistance provided within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills per Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students.
• Structure class time with repetition and skill progression.
• Ensure swimmer safety at all times.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Compensation: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
