Job description

Sea Colony Fitness is hiring a Swim Instructor! The base rate of this position will be $15 per hour with commission of $9 per hour on top. Or a commission of $4.50 per lesson. Key Responsibilities of the Swim Instructor:

• Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
• Assists in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by department manager.
• Enforces the rules of conduct.
• Organize and support scheduling of lessons and billing with Wellness Director
• Communicated with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvement.
• Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Swim Instructor:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to four years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR, First Aid
• Experience required

Other Qualifications:

• ASCA certification preferred.
