Job summary

Latin School Of Chicago is seeking a seasonal swim coach to lead age-group practice groups on weekday evenings and support weekend meets. Coaches will set up and break down the pool, mentor young swimmers, and communicate progress to parents.

Applicants should have competitive swimming experience and be willing to obtain USA Swimming and Lifeguard certifications if not already held. Strong initiative, teamwork, and reliability are essential for success in this role.

About the Club

Latin Swim Club is a small, athlete‑centric swim club focused on individual swimmer development. We maintain conservative coach‑to‑athlete ratios and look for coaches committed to the growth of young athletes and who desire long‑term coaching careers.

Hours

Coaching practices Monday‑Friday evenings; swim meet support on select weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coach a group of age‑group swimmers Monday‑Friday.
• Communicate with parents regarding their swimmer’s progress.
• Attend weekend swim meets, oversee a specified age group, and support the head coach.

Compensation

• Work hours include pool setup and cleanup.
• Hourly stipend based on experience, starting at $20 per hour.
